Our Mission
The mission of The Martin House Children's Advocacy Center is to raise awareness and ensure that every child impacted by abuse is heard, protected, and receives vital services for their continued safety and future well-being.
What We Do
The Martin House CAC is a central part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) of professionals who work collaboratively to treat, investigate, and prosecute child abuse in Gregg, Harrison, Upshur and Marion counties.
Research supports that the MDT approach results in more effective investigations, stronger criminal cases for prosecution, and better support services for children to reduce their trauma and revictimization

Championing Justice
Advocating for the Child
The Martin House CAC stands at the forefront of justice for child victims of abuse, collaborating with law enforcement and legal experts to ensure perpetrators are held accountable.
Our coordinated efforts aim to deliver timely and effective legal responses, creating a safer future for the vulnerable.
The Martin House proudly displays a mural of handprint cutouts made by the children who have found healing at our facilities.
These pieces of art symbolize each child’s hope and inner strength, reflecting a personal story that contributes to a tapestry of shared courage and hope.
